The Couture Studio is in Congleton, Cheshire and it’s the base from which internationally acclaimed designer, Sharon Bowen, creates stunning bridal gowns and evening wear for her clients, many of whom are celebrities.
Sharon trained in Paris with top designer Hubert Aimetti and designed for the most prestigious fashion houses including Chloe and Dior.
She came back to the UK and established her own label in the 1990s, recognising there was demand for couture wedding gowns after the tremendous interest her own sparked, when she was married in 1993.
Her gowns reflect her Paris training – cut and style is paramount. Her designs are often daring, sometimes risqué , never run-of-the-mill. Her original reputation as the rebellious, enfant terrible of fashion is ever present in terms of design but with age has come a maturity of style that appeals to women of character and independence.
