Kate Sherford has worked in the bridal industry for nine years and has designed her own collections of wedding gowns for the past five. Her work continues the company’s thirty year tradition of producing the best of English designer wedding gowns, previously under the labels Andrea Wilkin and Peter Brandon.
Every gown is handmade by a dedicated team of skilled cutters, seamstresses and hand beaders in Taunton, Somerset. Many of the designs include a level of corsetry that requires a very high standard of cut and fit. The design direction is soft and feminine incorporating asymmetric waistlines and big skirts with ruching, gathering and lace; and a key fabric is taffeta in a wide range of subtle colour mixes.
